What is the relationship of teaching and leadership? Is a great teacher a great leader? Is a great leader a great teacher? To me it is the equivalent of the square and rectangle comparison. The other day I was talking to someone at my company, and they told me that becoming a sales person in the North or Northeast was equivalent of someone in the south becoming a lawyer or doctor. People are just as proud to be a sales person as they are a doctor or lawyer (which I can understand about the lawyer deal). But this truly shocked me.
